Midsouth designers can now hunt for local design treasures from their desktop
Released on = January 27, 2007, 1:21 pm
Press Release Author = Brandy Thompson / Premium Home Design
Industry = Internet & Online
Press Release Summary = Premium Home Design's (PHD) new regional sourcing concept allows designers to search by keyword and compare upscale home décor products from 100's of skilled artisans, master craftsmen, and manufacturers in their own backyard.
Press Release Body = Understanding that designers are busy and they prefer to \"touch and feel\" products before they purchase them. Premium Home Design's (PHD) sourcing tool promises to make finding local products easier than ever. Clicking on a product brings up quality images, descriptions, quantity available, pricing info, and the ability to generate an order form to email or fax directly to the supplier.
Listening to the feedback of suppliers and designers has allowed PHD to focus on the needs of both sides of the industry. One of the features that solves a problem for suppliers and designers is the close-out section. Suppliers can easily manage their information daily through the administrative website, so they are able to enter accurate data for their "last years" models, and overstock items in the close-out section. Designers like the close-out idea because they are able to find a deal on a high quality item.
Free to all designers in the U.S. who register on our website, the Mid-South version of the PHD sourcing tool will be live July 2007. A concentrated marketing campaign via direct mail, emails, and ASID ICON advertising is underway and Mid-South suppliers are signing up now for the 2007-2008 year.
PHD is a global project and 9 other US regions are being developed simultaneously.
